Aluminium alloy conductor armoured power cable, XLPE insulated with PVC sheath, 3 and 4 core, 600/1000V.
This BS 5467 style armoured cable uses an AA-8000 series aluminium alloy conductor, making it a lighter and more economical alternative to copper on long feeder runs. XLPE insulation allows 90 C continuous operation and 250 C short-circuit (max 5 s), while the steel wire armour and PVC sheath protect the cable in direct burial, duct and industrial installations. Sizes run from 10 mm2 to 630 mm2 in single and 2-5 core configurations, with STA, SWA or AWA armour options.
